- Monitor daily operations to ensure production goals are achieved within scheduled timeframes.
- Apply lean manufacturing tools to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
- Create, revise, and approve technical drawings for tailoring materials in line with company standards.
- Develop detailed plans for all activities within the assigned manufacturing processes.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with procedures, operational instructions, and work standards.
- Ensure all work procedures required for the role are applied consistently and effectively.
- Promote high standards of conduct and ensure all team members understand and uphold expected behaviors.
- Monitor team performance, provide direction, and deliver constructive feedback.
- Plan and implement training and development programs tailored to team needs.
- Coordinate and define training requirements for new production processes.
- Perform all administrative tasks related to the role, including daily reporting and data entry into internal systems.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Recognize and respond to customer expectations and CR/CSR requirements with urgency, aiming to exceed expectations.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery used in the sewing production process are properly maintained, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production flow.
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field);
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position—preferably within the automotive industry and ideally in textile or sewing operations.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering systems, process optimization methodologies, and industry standards (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, APQP).
- Proven track record in leading engineering-driven production improvements, implementing cost-saving initiatives, and managing technical audits.
- Excellent ability to analyze complex production challenges, develop data-driven solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively across departments and with cross-functional teams.
