- Act as an ambassador of the HR Function, translating and executing the EMEA HR Strategy at the plant level.
- Align on the plant HR strategic plan with the HRBP before implementation.
- Develop and implement both long-term and short-term HR action plans for the plant, aligning with the company’s strategic priorities and objectives.
- Execute the implementation of key HR processes at the plant level.
- Ensure comprehensive implementation of all employee life cycle activities, including Talent Attraction, Recruitment and Hiring, Onboarding and Offboarding, Employee Development, Retention, and Engagement Initiatives.
- Understand the workforce, identify key talents, and develop retention and growth plans to ensure the stability and success of the plant.
- Identify and address issues at the plant level, partnering with the plant manager to overcome them.
- Support the plants efficiently, ensuring central processes meet and support plant requirements.
- Collaborate actively with Central HR, Labor Relations, and Compliance functions on relevant topics to ensure cohesive operations.
- Understand the business and the influencing factors that impact the plant.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, maintaining the plant’s adherence to all relevant legal standards.
- Address employee concerns proactively, fostering a positive work environment and effectively resolving conflicts.
- Manage employee representative relations, handling labor grievances and compliance issues.
- Act with urgency and efficiency to identify solutions for HR challenges at the plant level.
- Mitigate the risk for future challenges by understanding upcoming challenges and developing solutions.
- Pursue cost-efficient improvement initiatives in HR and labor costs within the plant, ensuring a sustainable future.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the Automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
