- Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Be a to “go-to” person for local management and regional leadership in terms of location's financial matters.
- Ensure completion of accurate and timely monthly management reporting to both local and regional management teams.
- Cost and inventory management:
- In liaison with Global Business Services and other functional input (e.g. purchasing) ensure the reliability of cost information in the SAP i.e. bills of materials, standard and actual costs.
- Understand and monitor the drivers of plant working capital including cash collection, payments and the coordination of physical inventories. Oversee the necessary stock count adjustments (finished goods, spare parts, ingredients).
- Planning and budgeting:
- Linking the plant's key financial objectives to the business strategy, managing the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts. This includes analysis of variances, meaningful commentary and understanding of relevant risks and sensitivities in the budget / forecast.
- Capital Investment Proposals
- Work closely with non-finance colleagues in the plant to develop and analyze prospective capital investment projects.
- Monitor and control capital investment projects during and after implementation with post completion reviews.
- Controlling
- Execute and oversight of monthly financial close process (inventory reconciliation and actual cost valuation, fixed assets control, accruals, recharges, indirect tax etc.)
- Maintain reconciliation with shared Service and control balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
- Maintain adequate controls, monitor key control areas and ensure group standards and policies are followed.
- Deep understanding of Moroccan GAAP
- External reporting and audits
- Support statutory, tax and legal reporting, assist in external audits in collaboration with Global Business Services and external provider where applicable.
- Very good analytical skills
- Management accounting and cost controlling background
- Competent in written and spoken English
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent ability to build rapport and develop collaborative working relationships within and outside the organization
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people up, down and across communication
- Capable of leading and managing multiple and challenging assignments

- Knowledge in local tax, statutory and financial requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting / finance
- 3 to 7 years business and financial experience in a global/industrial organisation
- Familiarity of production units and finance processes as such
- Experience in controlling
- Preferred Experience Food/ Agri-business industry
