  • 3 to 10 years of professional experience involving at least 5 years in HSE
  • Rigorous, zero compromise with HSE deviation.
  • Level 3 HSE certification (NEBOSH / OSHA IGC or equivalent)
  • Proven autonomy and ability to manage.
  • Good interpersonal skills and interaction with project teams.
ActivitiesHSE:
  • Strict adherence and compliance towards Group QHSE policy (including MAESTRO) with high Quality of QHSE performance and complying with affiliate's QHSE Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all times.
  • Participate in the training program to acquire QHSE knowledge and impart this training to colleagues as and when required by Management.
  • Reporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the time frame as required by Quality, HSE, Energy policies and Manuals.
  • Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as and when required.
Strict adherence to QHSE requirements with full authority to stop any operation for safety reasons.HSE Manager MENWA will be in charge of:
  • Ensure HSE objectives for the assigned geography. The assigned geography may change as the management sees fit.
  • Support and encourage the establishment of an HSE culture within the perimeter through a proactive attitude (training, HSE Site visit, HSE meetings and incentive actions, etc.), stop dangerous situations, report anomalies and dangerous acts.
  • Support to implementation of ONE MAESTRO within the assigned geography.
  • Contribute supporting Sustainab'ALL program in line with the company ambitions
  • Lead, monitor and implement the company's H3SE policies, procedures, and program across the assigned territory.
  • Develop relevant H3SE procedures and templates in local languages, based on company procedures.
  • Support the MENA Zone Director, technical and operations managers in his HSE responsibilities for the region
  • Ensure compliance by all project contractors to relevant legislation and Group HSE requirements, with the full support of project managers.
  • Qualify new contractors on HSE point of view. Make sure HSE performance of contractors is reviewed after each project.
  • Review HSE Plans, Procedures, Method Statements, Risk assessments for the projects, & all Health, Safety & Environment related documentation to ensure compliance with the company and local requirements.
  • Conduct frequent and regular inspections of both construction sites and maintenance operations to check compliance to HSE plan and procedures, including monitoring of site from CCTV camera.
  • Identify potential hazards & recommend solutions at all stages of projects, including design review
  • Monitor implementation of environmental mitigation measures during construction and O&M phases.
  • Assist Project Managers to implement improvement & prohibition notice to contractors and set up recommendation & corrective action.
  • Lead investigations of incidents, and issue related HSE reports.
  • Collect and report relevant information as per the standard reporting in place.

Constant technical evolutions required to remain competitive, to have in place active cost reduction and performance improvement processes, to develop and implement strategies not purely based on price so that the business protects value.
  • HSE environment: the scope is cross countries with different HSE maturity. The HSE MENA is required to adapt and support different type of contractors ranging from sophisticated ones to low performance ones.
