- Hold responsibility for all procurement related tasks in a new product development project
- Apply all relevant processes, methods and tools in order to leverage the OPm Lighting buying power
- Proactively strives for achieving/optimizing project KPIs and milestones, especially on Costs, Time to Market and Quality/Functionality (QCD)
- Act as Purchasing representative within Program Core Teams for whole new product development phases, reporting functionally to Manager/Teamlead for Program Purchasing.
- Manage all procurement, sourcing and supplier-focused activities for BUY parts and tools. Coordinate and trigger specific investment buyers on sourcing of project investments.
- Act as one face of the Purchasing organization into Program Core Team and actively contribute to project execution.
- Drive the implementation of Purchasing & Commodity Strategies along with material and/or supplier sourcing activities. Utilize global approval supplier panel by close alignment with Commodity Buyers and Supplier Engineers
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant purchasing experience within automotive industry.
- Knowledge of relevant Commodity including but not limited to cost drivers and models, global supplier panel and market situation evolution.
- Good level understanding of Project Management (official certification as advantage).
- Regional experience and exposure to high-level internal stakeholders is mandatory.
