- Develop and improve emission inventories for Morocco.
- Perform source apportionment analysis using statistical and computational techniques (e.g., receptor models, chemical transport models) to identify and quantify the contributions of various emission sources to air pollution.
- Collaborate with researchers in atmospheric sciences, environmental policy, and data science to integrate findings into actionable knowledge for air quality management.
- Publish research results in high-impact journals and present findings at international conferences.
- Supervise graduate students and contribute to the academic community at UM6P.
- Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong background in emission inventories, air pollution source apportionment, and related analytical methods (e.g., receptor models, chemical transport models, statistical analysis).
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB) and familiarity with relevant air quality modeling tools.
- Experience with large datasets and data processing techniques.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present complex research findings to diverse audiences.
- Strong teamwork and collaborative skills.
- Experience with regional or global emission inventories, air quality monitoring, and model validation (preferred).
