Located in the municipality of Benguerir, in the very heart of the Green City, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University aspires to leave its mark nationally, continentally, and globally.Poste :As we expand our Data Science and Analytics Lab team, we are seeking a motivated Junior Data Scientist. This role focuses on supporting the development and analysis of data-driven models and collaborating with senior data scientists and various stakeholders within the university's ecosystem. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about learning and applying data science techniques to solve real-world problems.Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis and Model Development: Developing and refining machine learning models. Participate in data preprocessing, analysis, and visualization to support model development.
Collaboration and Learning: Work closely with senior data scientists to understand project requirements and contribute to model development. Actively learn from team members and contribute to collaborative projects.
Model Validation and Testing: Help in validating models against data sets and perform tests to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data science and machine learning. Implement learnings in ongoing projects.Profil recherché :Basic Qualifications:-Engineering degree or equivalent in Machine Learning, Data Science or other A.I. fields- Basic understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, R).
- Eagerness to learn and apply new data science techniques and tools.Preferred Qualifications:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing and model deployment.
- Familiarity with basic principles of data management. - Interest in pursuing advanced learning and development in data science.Soft Skills:- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the field of data science.
